    They will see him as "persecuted", standing up
    against Them. That's worth lotsa votes - Musk
    surely gets it.

    As for what kind, if any, 'criminal' he is (and
    most of that's MSM inventions) The People will
    tend to FORGET that when they see a 'fighting
    underdog'.

    Hey, remember South Africa ... the Mandela's were
    corrupt and criminal as all hell and everybody KNEW
    it. But yet ... they were symbols of the Anti-System
    and that was more than enough.
