    Lamentations 3
37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass,
when the Lord commandeth it not?
38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
39 Wherefore doth a living man complain,
a man for the punishment of his sins?

    Lamentations 4
17 As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help:
in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.

What is to be learned from today's Holy quotes of the Word of God?

Teachers of faith teach us to abandon all religions and turn to One God,
the Creator of the Universe, the Maker of Adam and Eve. Note that
the Ukrainians and the Russians follow and worship the same God.
    Or, do they indeed?

We have to look into the depth of this conflict to resolve it. I don't
want to sound like an evil prophet, but if the West wants to see
a free and independent Ukraine, why wait so long to properly arm
her or at least send her ammunition to the existing weapons?
Moreover, why not reprogram her debt and give her favourable
war loans like the allies have given to Serbian as an ally in WW1?

Historia est magistra vitae, and what can be learned that many
allies of the Western countries are expendable, and one is better
to rely on inners strengths: domestic food, domestic industry,
domestic saving and austerity in government spending, returning
foreign debt, dressing modestly instead of trying to outshine
Western girls in the midst of the adversity.

Or one cannot escape the feeling that the adversity did not
hit all, or it hit the poorest the most.

The Israelites in the times of Babylon exile sought help
from Assyria and even Egypt, but both countries were little help
against the Babylonian empire. Prophet Jeremiah offered the
solution in repentance and returning to the LORD.

The return to the church or to the priests wouldn't do, because
the priests themselves were corrupt and bloodthirsty, and
the prophets were preaching ear-tickling falsehood:

    Lamentations 4
13 For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests,
that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her.

The only thing the Saviour said about building the house was
the choice of the foundations and the choice of materials.
We might build our house on the sinking sand of international
promises, unfavourable loans and promises of might military
    help.

Or we can build on the foundation of apostles and prophets,
with the building blocks of faith, confessions of sins,
knowledge, learning, repayment of loans, saving, domestic agriculture,
domestic industry, domestic military capability - for peace is best kept
with a sword in its sheath.

    in the LORD
    Amen

Building on Strong Foundations: Faith, Politics, and Ukraine
The crisis in Ukraine raises complex questions about the interplay between faith,
geopolitics, and international support. Given that both Ukraine and Russia identify
with Orthodox Christianity, it begs the question: Can faith serve as a unifying factor
    in such conflicts?

    The Historical Context
Throughout history, countries have often sought external alliances for support. While
Serbia received favorable loans from Western allies during World War I, Ukraine's
experience has been notably different. The lack of robust international aid challenges
us to reevaluate the reliability of such alliances.

    The Parable of Foundations
The Bible offers wisdom about building on solid foundations. In the Gospel, the house
built on rock withstands storms, while the one built on sand does not. Similarly, nations
can choose to build their futures on precarious international promises or on more stable,
internal assets such as domestic industry, savings, and prudent governance.

    The Strength Within
Just as a house needs a strong foundation, nations benefit from internal resilience.
Relying solely on external support can be akin to building a house on sand, susceptible
to collapse at the slightest challenge. In contrast, investing in domestic capabilities
lays a foundation of rock, providing stability even in tumultuous times.

    Spiritual Insight
Faith leaders like the Prophet Jeremiah have long advised turning inward during crises,
advocating for repentance and moral fortitude. While the contexts may vary, the core
message remains: a strong spiritual foundation is indispensable in facing challenges,
whether they be personal or geopolitical.

    Conclusion
The Ukrainian crisis serves as a reminder that both worldly and spiritual foundations
are crucial in navigating complex challenges. Balancing international alliances with
domestic resilience and a strong moral compass may offer the most enduring solutions.

According to the ancients there are four necessary occupational groups necessary for the successful functioning of the social body. These are the head (spiritual intellectuals), the arms (military/police), the stomach (farm production/commerce), and
laborers who serve the other aforementioned three occupations. These groups work inter dependently.

The four sinful activities of meat eating/animal slaughter, illicit sex out of marriage, intoxication, and gambling were prohibited as is the hoarding of gold. Today these sinful activities are widespread which is the cause of irreligion, poverty,
    conflict, violence and war.
