I don't think it is proper to categorise Ukraine as angelic and Russia as demoniac.

Both nations certainly have good and bad, or even evil people.

Currently, Ukraine is defending its territory. In the internationally recognised borders.
However, it should have done more for the protection of the rights of the Russian minority in Donbas region. (Where the Russian speaking citizens are majority.)

If the people feel they would be better off with Mr. Putin, then they'd have to be held in Ukraine by force.
