Been reading "The Death of Expertise" by Tom Nichols. It discusses how many people are not only suspicious of experts, but arrogantly assume their "research" proves them wrong. Completely prey to misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda.
The book is ending with some optimism about America.
But it ends before Trump's re-election. :-D =:-O
