    This is monumental new physics. For, from the very start of physics waves, it was assumed, never even "closely inspected" that the waves of physics were sinusoid or thought of as semicircle-sinsoid. No-one even bothered to look carefully or closely
    at NATURE. Just assume, assume and assume away.

    Several weeks ago I started my first experiment into this question of "" What are Waves, really""

    I was surprised myself, generating a wave on a garden hose made of nylon.

    The wave that emerged was not what all physicists expect-- their fake sinusoid

    No, no sinusoid, no semicircle, or anything in between.

    What emerged from that first experiment is a CYCLOID is the transverse wave of Physics.

    A wave that looks like this

    Now if I keep generating (waving the garden hose) the wave looks like this

    So, depending on how strong I kept up the waving, the Physical Wave that emerged would look like this

    and that is a cycloid wave.


    Now, we can easily see why all of physics and science would get it wrong about waves, for water is where wave theory starts, yet water is horribly deceptive. For when we see water ripples, our dull and fallible minds easily falls into the illusion
    that the troughs go underneath the surface, and we imagine a Sinusoid that really does not exist at all.

    So, today, have a look at water ripples in a pond or elsewhere. Is the trough going underneath the surface, or is the crests , like the garden hose, carrying the energy forward with no undersurface trough.

    Is the trough that of a Cycloid trough, never a sinusoid/semicircle trough.

    This is the first time in Physics history, that humanity is inspecting Waves of Physics-- up close.
