And on top of that, physicists often do stuff that "engineers" cannot

And the stuff that physicists do and "Engineers" don't, aren't any
farther from everything in life that human has to concern himself with.
They aren't some esoteric subjects that only philosophers discuss in
their private gatherings.
These stuff jump right out of anything you touch in nature. The moment,
you try to dig into it these stuff come up. Stuff that only physicists
and scientists know how to handle. The "cook" and his cookbook in your kitchen has no idea how to do it. He sure takes your money to do them
though! He never says he cannot do it. He doesn't even know he cannot do
it. He's just a "cook" and his cookbook and is good only in a kitchen,
and when he hears the task has to do with "food" he tells you "yes I can
do it".
Doesn't this street in San Francisco look like it was built by the
"cook" you have in your kitchen?

This happened less than a week ago. It smells of everything American
from Reagan on. Did your media even show it? I got this clip from
Iranian news, sweeties.
But how about New York? This got "viral" just a few days back:

Same type of service to society. Taking your tax money and doing a third
world job.
