I guess it should make sense that traditional habits, like getting decent
sleep, would help. We're mechanical, after all. My recommendations for a
happy old age would include:
* stay off social media. Who needs it?
* kill your TV. Nothing on worth watching
* get fresh air/sunlight every day
* cultivate meaningful friendships and relationships; get out of the house
* get some exercise/move your bones every day
TV/internet have so little to offer these days and it's getting worse. I
met an old guy with a flip phone today and asked him about it. He had
plenty of money to afford a smart phone if he wanted one. His answer:
"anyone I want to talk to already has my number. Everyone else can fuck
off." Sound advice.
