  • how to test solution

    D[y[x, t], t] -D[y[x, t], x] Exp[y[x,t]] == 0
    wolfram gives
    y(x, t) = c_1 (t e^y(x, t) + x)
    how to know if it is right or not? what is yours?

    wolfram always give only one constant c1 in all solution. Is it bug? it should be at least 2 constants.
