What is your definiton of "akademisch"?
If it is "in an academic building",
would the pseudo-form include "in a tent"?

I suggest it IS the point.
Translation generally is difficult, but it becomes impossible is the
definition af the original word is not clear.
"Eine akademische Konferenz" what do you mean by that?
Is "akademisch" just another word of "organized by or at an university"?
Than we would need to know what is ment by a "pseudo-university",
wouldn't we?
