"The" is not idiomatic in front of "quantum mechanics".

I just saw this in a work from 2018
|P. A. M. Dirac, The physical interpretation of the [sic]
|quantum mechanics, Proc. Roy. Soc. A 113, 621-641 (1926).
by V. Balakrishnan apparently published by the Indian academy
of sciences. It shows that Balakrishnan also seems to have
thought that this "the" is funny becauses he added a "[sic]".
It could happen if you start with "the quantum mechanics of
molecules" and then later delete "of molecules", but it can't
happen as an oversight when it's in the title of a work!
When the instruments measure the particle's momentum and position at the
slit exit, the quantum mechanics collapses and the particles behave like regular ...
To avoid sums of distinct measurement outcomes, one needs to modify the
basic dynamical equation of the quantum mechanics equation so that it is non-linear.
