Fake UK stamps blamed on Chinese-made counterfeits
    BBC https://www.bbc.com › news › business-68786782
Apr 11, 2024 — Barcoded stamps were introduced in 2022
to cut down on the sale of fakes and Mr Gold said this had reduced the
    number of counterfeits by 90%.

Dodgy stamps and Chinese whispers. 2024-04-16 - ... For supposed
experts to call the production of fake British stamps 'economic warfare'
    by the Chinese Communist ...

While there's nothing inherently dodgy about buying books of
stamps retail from third party sellers, official stamps are only sold
    wholesale ...

I was watching a BBC (?) segment about these fake stamps,
and the news-caster used the word [dodgy] (or "dodgey"?) several
times, and wondered ... that word must mean "suspicious"...

Then i thought... the surname Dodgeson must be (must have been)
a pretty goofy sounding name... almost like "Goofman" ?

i also remembered a scene from my fav (Altman) movie [Gosford Park],
where the Maggie-Smith says... "The Dodger ?"
