Babo: Short for "Boss Babe," a term for a confident and independent woman.
Not at all, a "Babo" is a male, typically some sort of gang leader. Apparently imported from the Zaza language via Bosnian and used mostly
in turkish or ex-yugoslavian youth subcultures. The rapper "Haftbefehl" ("arrest warrant") had a song "Chabos wissen wer der Babo ist" ("the
boys know who's boss") about 10 years ago.

The meaning of "babo" depends on the language:
Italian: In Italian, "babbo" means "dad" or "daddy" in a casual or informal setting. It's a common term used by children to address their
fathers.
Korean: In Korean, "babo" (바보) is a derogatory term meaning "fool," "moron," or "idiot." It's a rude and offensive word, so avoid
using it unless you understand the context completely.
German (historical): In German, "Babo" was a youth slang term
meaning "the boss" or "the ringleader" in the early 2010s. It originated
from Turkish and wasn't widely used by older generations.
Macedonian (regional): In some Muslim communities of Macedonia,
"babo" can be the vocative singular form of words meaning "grandmother"
or "father".
