  • gas turbine manufacturers facing lay-offs

    There are only orders for 100 gas turbines (used to generate electricty) whereas the the worldwide factories have capacity to churn out 400 a year.
    One would think there should be more gas-fired power plants required to
    balance the load with more renewable (intermittent) power, instead of
    stodgy coal.
