Considering that the majority of typical southern california wet winter weather usually comes down the coast after forming systems in the gulf of alaska (perhaps I assume too much!), does the formation of a strong el nino mean that the weather systems
will now come from the west (out of central asia) or will the systems likely still be colder stuff coming from the north (alaska gulf)? Thanks Pat
