I was attempting to make an inventory of my copious spares collection
because I can *never* find what I want when I need it among the sheer >vastness of my stash. Whilst attempting this quest worthy of Odysseus,
I came across some old valves ("toobs" for our American friends) which
I've not seen before and was wondering if anyone here recognises them.
I can't ever remember seeing valves with radial pins (plugging them in
must have been a challenge) but we learn something every day, I guess.

Acorn triodes. I have a Measurements 59 UHF grid dip oscillator that uses >one.
They were more or less obsoleted when Nuvistors came along.
