Hmmm... the text description claims '2"' but the graphic looks
more like a plain old ~1" coupler. This based on the relative
sizes of the diameter (~3/8") vs. length.

Contrast this graphically with the 1.75" version I had found:
    <https://www.ebay.com/itm/404316225471>

I've sent an email to the firm requesting dimensional data.
I have little faith in people verifying the accuracy
    of their catalog data. :<

Thanks! If this truly is 2", it solves a problem...

Box hardware supposed to solve most through-wall issues.

    A tight space?

    A tight space?

An "assembly" that has a female connector that I want to
"translate" through ~3 inches AND use as a mechanical
    support.

A 3" M-F cable could do the trick -- but would put
a mechanical load on the connectors on the ends of the
    cable.

Instead, I was hoping a M-M with F-F cascaded to give
me that span (I can tolerate the insertion losses). The
M-M all seem to be about 1" in length, leaving 2" to
cover with the F-F. So, any combination of devices
that total to ~3" (ignoring decimals) would work.

*Or*, rethink the placement of the connectors entirely...
