    Ouch, wrong News Group, but you can call as well, if you
    have a Windows PC and like to test good old PGPfone.

    I have only just rediscovered Usenet (after a 20-year hiatus) and
    have yet to find out whether something compatible with PGPfone is
    available for Linsux.

    Cool, that you are back to Usenet!

    Yesterday I testet PGPfone on my little GPD MicroPC with 'wine',
    under Ubuntu Mate, and it works nicely. :-)

    Some of the better Telephony apps support encrypted connections over the
    SIP protocol that interoperates with the Plain Old Telephone System
    (POTS). But there was an annoying period of at least a decade where the dominant Asterisk telephone suite didn't really do that in a useful way.
