• Is Beagle down again at talk.origins?

From Peter Nyikos@21:1/5 to All on Wed Nov 15 14:23:02 2023
I see that nothing has posted today in our "cousin" group, talk.origins, in GG
since 6:45 AM. Does anyone know whether this is due to Beagle being down (usually nothing to worry about so soon) or whether the fault is with GG?

It's up now. I suspect it's just a case of extreme boredom. Ron Dean seems to be
the only game in town, and it isn't much fun.

It's just conceivable that everyone was waiting for something like 12 hours of mostly daylight
for the next moves from Ron Dean. What's happened on that thread since then is just two
    posts from Ron Dean.

Anyway, it is no longer the only game in town. I've started two of them, one in reply to
a rant by Ron O that is even long for him, which I deleted, but I hammered away at
his thread title's equivocation "intelligent design creationism" in a way I've never seen done before.
The other game is where I tackled a one-liner by John Kerr-Mudd which I couldn't
decide was a satire on JTEM or a serious but very naive comment.. The smart money goes with the former, but by playing it straight, I was able to post some information that most people aren't aware of.

Good try, but the Ron Dean show rolls on.

There’s a bit of a lag in posting today too.
