    Alan Feduccia's book Romancing the Birds and Dinosaurs has been reviewed
    by Darren Naish at Tetrapod Zoology. It is not, to say the least, favorable.

    I recall you remarking (some years ago) that it would be unfair to label Feduccia as a "crank".
    It would seem that he is steadily advancing toward that category.

    That must have been a very long time ago. I would go so far as to say
    "not entirely a crank", because he has done a certain amount of valid work.
