    There are NO causation between comets and any cataclysm.
    Maybe some coincidences, but coincidences DO NOT mean correlation.

    Here we comb the comet, plague and natural disaster records from 1597 - 1650 and from 1790...

    Why that gap between 1650 and 1790 ? Is that because you where unable to
    find things that you managed to shoehorn and distort to fit your narrative ?

    I was gunna reply that, maybe, there had been a long period when there
    had been ZERO Comets observable from Earth .... but even Halley's Comet
    would have appeared somewhere with-in that 140 year gap!! At least once!
