    Maybe if they weren't diverting money and resources to wastes of time like the ISS and a manned moon mission, they could work on sending more capable probes to Jupiter and Saturn's moons in a sped-up period of time?

    More research probes would be great. But we don't really have any way
    to get them there faster. These missions mostly depend on planetary
    alignments for slingshot assists.

    Maybe some kind of ion drives are on the horizon. That could open
    things up by allowing for higher speeds.
