  • Idiots in general media overhyping the latest comet. What else is new?

    Yeah, it's green. It's also 7th magnitude and won't be much brighter than 6th at month's end so it's hardly another Neowise. But the science-illiterates in the media latched on the fact that it's a comet with a 50,000 year period so it MUST be bright.
