Um, it's not *designated* as a solar-powered vehicle. Some people _did_ call it one,
however; the title of the article was "Unmanned, solar-powered US space plane back
after 908 days".
So at least somebody called it one. And people reading the article would have >understood that just meant that it recieved power for its onboard systems from >the Sun.
