The "We know who the Zodiac Killer was! The FBI
conspired to hide his identity" is 100% in line with
all the recent anti FBI buzz in the media, and not at
all truth based.
Well. It is true that a lot of people believe that
Gary Ray...errr...Gary Francis Poste is the Zodiac
Killer. But even more people believe that he isn't.
And there are better suspects. Meaning, people
who look like a better fit to the evidence.
Of course, if someone really looked like an excellent
fit then they most likely would have been caught
decades ago. So there's something missing. I would
guess that more than one criminal is involved. That,
the murders committed by multiple people are being
erroneously attributed to one man.
That's just a guess...
OR, it could be similar to the more recent Delphi
murder case, where TOO MANY people turned out
to be awesome suspects. Delphi is bizarre in that
where people often blame an unsolved case on
police incompetence, law enforcement had so
many incredibly guilty looking suspects, beginning
with a look at a national level for serial killers, that
they had to figure out who was guilty of WHAT.
I honestly wonder if the man they have arrested is
NOT guilty of the actual murders, but of something
else related to the crime...
