    Yes.
    The combination of fur loss + SC fat is enough (bio)logically.
    But we also have big brains, flat feet, diving skills (google "Jon Foss human evolution"), voluntary breathing (->speech), pachyosteosclerosis, ear exostoses (H.neand.), Flores (>18 km oversea), shell engravings (google "Joordens Munro"), etc.etc.etc.

    What about the "Garden Habitat" idiocy where Homo took up agriculture and animal husbandry, so of course (later) evolved the brains and physical means
    to do these things... it's savanna idiocy on steroids!
