MV thinks dense femur = daily diver but dense tibia/fibula = endurance runner!
Liar: the authors of the paper (idiotically, of course) believe OH-35 was "possibly" an endur.runner.
Liar. OH-35 was vertical climber based on its dense/strong tibia/fibula, as in other great apes. Of course they neglected to mention the comparison to hylobatids (Hs & hylobatids have long achiles tendon and are obligate orthograde striding bipeds),
which should be *mandatory* when comparing Hs to any fossil or genetic hominoid. WT-15k has possible affinities with endurance running based on less dense/strong tibia/fibula, meine kleine tochter.
Their paper only shows that OH-35 (probably = OH-7 & OH-8) is an ape, not Homo:
google "Lucy is not a human ancestor PPT verhaegen".
Homo is an ape.
Homo is The Sheltered Ground Ape = portable domeshields.
Homo sapiens is the Hearthed Ground Ape = dome huts +.
