They only sell computer and video game equipment in the USA.
You may still find a few dealers that have a few NEC pieces left,
including their IDTV 52" TV.
I won a 27" NEC TV from their videogame section, so they had a few
left...
For owners of NEC CE, they still have full support and service.
What does this mean for the new NEC VCR reviewed in the lattest issue of Camcorder? NEC Model PC-VCR/PV-S98A2. It is a S-VHS frame accurate deck with an RS-232 port so it can be controlled via a PC. It looks to be a
brand new product.

This is so fucking cool! Looking through decades old messages between privileged, internet-having mutha' fuckas living in Silicon Valley. My parents moved away from Santa Clara in 2002 when I turned five. That house is worth 7 figures now. My pops was a
software engineer before he actually went nuts. It would have been interesting to have stayed in Cali. Maybe I'd actually go to college instead of being a lowly reseller. I got a 4.0 in high school, but school fucken sux, especially 'cause I live in the
libtard hellhole that is Portland. I guess California is the same way now. Trump 2020.
I got my hands on the NEC PV-S98A deck in question. ust trying to find info on this hnk of crap. Some asshat has one up for 300 plus shipping on eBay. A tape got stuck in mine, so I had to force it back out. Now the machine 'thinks' there is a tape when
there is not. Now the machine power on and stays on a few seconds, then turns off. The tape wasn't retracted back into the cassette, it just stayed pressed against the head. Maybe the machine detected that the head was dirty. Perhaps putting the tape ack
in after cleaning the head would solve the issue. I think I'm just gonna sell it for parts.
