As I mentioned it would be for the occasional job for the moment, with
just the 5D and 90% of the time a 35mm on it + a Rode Shotgun Mic. It's
just for quick B-Rolls, backstage shots, quick pannings of landscapes..
$100 to $500 would be ideal.
Thank you!

What's your definition of cheap? $100, $500, $1,000? A good fluid head isn't cheap. When you start adding gear to the basic rig, the pounds get added on and you want to make sure your tripod and head can handle the extra weight.

Marco, I looked at the B&H site and have 3 recommendations for you.

I own a better Manfrotto (twice the price) than the one listed here and it's not even close to being as good as either of the Sachtler models.
They're a company that has been building tripods for the pro video industry for years and the quality and features can't be beat. The more expensive one would be my choice because of the built-in spreader.
Yes it is expensive but this is a tool that, unlike the Manfrotto, you'll still be using 20 years from now.
I have a broadcast Miller tripod that's more than 30 years old and it still works as good as the day it was purchased. You can't get a life expectancy like that from a cheap model.
