Don't Americans pay sales tax for travel agent services in the US?...I
don't know, just wondering. Also, if you shop around, you don't end up
with 15% sales tax. I think that is the rate you would get in Ontario (7% fed. sales tax plus 8% provincial). Some provinces charge even higher
rates, but here in Alberta the provincial sales tax is zero, ie you'd only pay the federal 7%.
Can't say if this represents any bargain or not, just something to
consider.
