    Have you considered that through vaccination and exposure to the virus our herd immune systems can now cope better? This has been the pattern for all prior pandemics even those before vaccines when we had only exposure for gaining immune competence. So,
    the need for vaccines has declined. I do agree that the youngest never really needed vaccination for COVID, but that was peculiar to this virus. Polio was one that the youngest were most at risk, and the results were devastating.
