• Jamaal Bowman commits a FELONY by pulling the fire alarm

    From Tommy@21:1/5 to All on Sat Oct 7 10:02:32 2023
    It's called Obstructing an Official Proceeding, which was used against Jan 6 protesters. His excuse that he "confused" the alarm with a door handle is laughable, as well as not plausible. The "door handle" he got "confused" over isn't even ON A DOOR, but
    a wall, as well as being red and distinctively labeled.

    https://www.firehouse.com/operations-training/video/53074136/us-congressman-pulls-fire-alarm-in-house-office-building

    His act should be investigated with the same scrutiny as the Jan 6 protesters.

    'The comparison seems distinctly detached from reality.'

    <https://newrepublic.com/post/175902/republicans-attack-jamal-bowman-fire-alarm>

    'But despite Republicans’ best efforts to push this new attack, the two
    cases are extremely different.

    For one, Bowman has apologized and insisted that he accidentally pulled
    the alarm when a door that normally opened was suddenly locked.

    “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize
    for any confusion this caused,” Bowman said. '

    Door was normally open.

    The signs didn't make it clear what he was supposed to do.

    Why do you suppose the Rethuglicans have only released a still image of
    what happened...

    ...WHEN THEY HAVE VIDEO?
