Sinner played a super great match today.

I was going for Carlos but only if he played his very best. Something
like the 1st 2 sets in last yr's final. He was a little short of that
and Sinner is a deserved champion. I like this result as I've been
annoyed with Carlos stuffing around and showing off for the crowd. The
good news is Carlos will have no option but to play his very best to
stop Sinner in slams. If he doesn't bring it then I hope Sinner keeps
cleaning up. It's good news for us fans as it keeps Carlos in check and motivated. Would have been interesting had Sinner won FO, woulda been
great chance for calendar slam. He's got red hair like the other 2 guys
that did it, Budge and Laver : )

There appears little doubt Sinner is the best player. Yes Carlos had a
few wins in a row, but that stat is a little misleading as Sinner could
have won all of them, very close.

I'm not the biggest Sinner fan, but it was a deserved win. He was better
one, Alcaraz' serve seemed to be just a tad off.

I'd be delighted of the rivalry otherwise, but they have too similar
playstyles to be really entertaining against each other.
