It's just age, the wear and tear of the body, as much as I'm
taking care of it.
And, the reality hits me, you know, right now, Last year and a
half, like never before, to be honest.
The longer the tournament goes, The worse the condition gets, and
I'm just not able to
I reached, you know, the final stages, I reached semis of every
Slam this year, but, you know, I have to play Sinner or Alcaraz,
you know, and these guys are fit, young, you know, sharp, and I
feel like I'm going into the match with tank half empty, and it's
just not possible to win the match like that.

Exactly. I have to appreciate Djoker's honesty.
He did not say it aloud, but it is clear to me that he is never
going to win a Grand Slam singles title again.
If he played doubles with a good partner, he could win GS several
times, but I guess he only cares about singles.

That's not what the evidence shows. Who can beat Novak aside from
Sinner and Carlos? Nobody. Fritz has never beaten Novak.

Zverev can certainly beat him. I am 100% sure Djoker will
never win a GS singles title ever again. He is too old
and tired.

Again you are failing miserably to understand anything. Federer
reached the QF in his last Wimbledon playing without
knees.
When you get older, the tank runs out as you advance in the
tournament, until you face the better players in late rounds and
when these better players happen to be younger and great, age
becomes great factor in deciding results.
Novak just realized this and shared this fact but you don't
believe it's true.
The speed difference, recovery from hitting position to run to
another, the acceleration were very evident yesterday.
He didn't win a set from Sinner in the last three matches.
Keep this going for another 2-3 years and then come discuss the
h2h ugliness of Novak
No idea what you're talking about. He cruised into the semis no sweat.
A guy makes semis of 1st 3 slams of the year and is given 0 chance of
winning a slam by rst. Embarrassing.

Well he is 38, and let's face it he very nearly would have won this Wimbledon.
What do you think happens if Dimitrov didn't withdraw and Fritz took 1
of those set points to force a 5th set? Sure Charlie may have won
anyway, but Fritz's serve on grass means 1 fluke break and he wins.
Novak would not lose to an over the hill Dimitrov in semis and has never
lost to Fritz. No.25 on the plate.

Novak is a hell of a player and he can win another one if he
doesn't get a player that is so good and young in later rounds.
Every year it becomes more difficult for sure. People don't
understand the difference between steady speed and being
explosive on court.
I believe Shelton would be able to beat Djokovic next year in
Wimbledon if they have to play each other. Again, looking at who
is out there that can be a problem for Novak, the list would be
Sinner, Alcaraz, maybe Shelton & Rune next year. Who else?
Of course the bad days will happen more and more that will result
in upsets against any opponents.
