times, but I guess he only cares about singles.

I wonder if Djokovic is the last of the older players that consistently

Well he is 38, and let's face it he very nearly would have won this
Wimbledon.

What do you think happens if Dimitrov didn't withdraw and Fritz took 1
of those set points to force a 5th set? Sure Charlie may have won
anyway, but Fritz's serve on grass means 1 fluke break and he wins.
Novak would not lose to an over the hill Dimitrov in semis and has never
lost to Fritz. No.25 on the plate.

Novak knows he has 1 more in him with a couple lucky breaks, makes it
hard to walk away at this stage when he's so close to ultimate tennis
glory. He has made semis of all 3 slams this year, even beat Alcaraz at
AO in 4 sets after dropping 1st set. It seems anything is still
possible with Novak.

That's not what the evidence shows. Who can beat Novak aside from
Sinner and Carlos? Nobody. Fritz has never beaten Novak.

When Novak starts losing 3rd, 4th rd maybe.

Djoker *himself* said he is too old and tired and
cannot win.

The top 200 is so good nowadays that even the early
rounds drain lots of Djoker's energy. By the time he is in
the semis, his machine is suffering big time and he is
unable to win.

Logically yes, but Novak seems to be very unique. So far it's only
Carlos and Sinner, and even there Novak beat Carlos at AO this yr and
Olympics final. We'll just have to wait to see when he actually starts
losing to Shelton/Fritz types, might be when he's 40?
