lol, JD was quick to follow up and say he was joking :)

But yes from the photos, it seems very interesting, lol :)

JD must have visited there, not sure why it crossed his mind.

Is Papua New Guinea safe for tourists?
Reconsider travel to Papua New Guinea due to crime, civil unrest, and
piracy. Exercise increased caution due to kidnapping, unexploded
ordnance, inconsistent availability of healthcare services, and
potential for natural disasters. Some areas have increased risk

...Also, apparently it's not safe to walk in the cities after dark, you
get robbed by machete men etc. But you could of course go to countryside
and get eaten by cannibals. The options are endless!

As for New Zealand, haven't been there but from what I've seen the
    nature is stunningly beautiful.

    What do you think?

I haven't been, my friend was there for 2 weeks last year and said he
was ready to come home after 1 week. Said it was beautiful but not for
him as not enough to do.

I thought might go this year around October but really want to go back
to Tasmania and see the places we missed in January. Tasmania climate is similar to NZ, on the cool side. We walked into the Hobart tennis
centre where the play the WTA event and took some pics on centre court,
all open. Should have brought my racket and had a hit. Also checked out
the real tennis club and watched a match going on, very interesting
sport and I'll make sure I have a hit soon, either in Hobart or Sydney
which has a centre opening up soon. Tasmania is like another world,
incredibly beautiful beaches and coastline, small population, best food
and service I've ever experienced. It's paradise. Perfect if you want
to get away from all the madness going on in the world. It's only about
300km from north to south and the scenery while driving is stunning, you
want to stop every few minutes and take pics : )
