Well I'm just happy we survived the "certain death" from
"Global Freezing" they predicted back in the 1970's.
And I'm gonna jump on that "Global Warming" hysteria train - just as soon
as China, India, Iran and Russia do!
The odd thing about this heatwave is how windy it is, every day.
It’s not even a stale dense kind of heat, it’s a furnace blast in your face whenever you go outside because the wind just never stops.
I know this because all my milkweed pots keep blowing over every day, and my tall zinnia branches are mostly broken now.
The only thing worse for plants then excessive heat and drought, is WIND.
Death knell for some of them.
Second worse thing is rain forecast every single night AND IT NEVER HAPPENS.
It starts with 0.5 inch prediction, 3 days in advance, then gets shaved by 0.2 inches every day, then finally goes to zero. Every day for the past 6 days.
Rain, sure. Joke.
But of course we get the wicked pre-rain wind every day.
Although, hold up, IT JUST NOW STARTED RAINING!!!
