Not only was Bob Dole the first presidential candidate to have a website, but it’s still up.

I wish the GQP was normal again like Bob Dole and Jack Kemp.

What exactly about the corporate wing of the Democratic Party that is currently in charge (Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, etc.) do you object to? They seem mainstream and "normal" to me.I wish the GQP was normal again like Bob Dole and Jack Kemp.I wish the Democratic Party was normal again like JFK.

OK. We can debate that policy among serious-minded legislators.through our nation's Capitol, etc. etc. because they don't live in reality.
But we cannot debate those Republicans who believe that Trump won the 2020 election despite Republican gains in all other sectors of government, the "deep state" that is out to take your freedoms, January 6th 2021 was a peaceful tour of "patriots"
I wish the Democratic Party was normal again like JFK.

Much of the reason the 14th repealed the 10th was because of the fact that the Federal government recognized, given the chance, that the states would kill those demographics they desired to see dead and turn the other way when asked about it.
If God created all men equal and imbued them with inalienable rights (which he did NOT, but that's the assumption worked under -- all equality IS an enforcement by the state, for this very reason), the Federal government was going to have to step in
If you want the power back in the States, then you must realize that there are going to be certain states in which certain types of people are straight-up dead.
If you want an example of that line of thinking, even as things stand now, I present Uvalde, TX.

I'm going to assume this is bait.

I did. What I'm talking about isn't an all or nothing. Both the states
and the Federal Government have their roles, as do lower levels of government. I'm referring to more of a philosophical position. There
are probably plenty of rules in my area that wouldn't work well in other areas, along with lack of rules. Vice versa as well.

I would seriously like to know what role the Federal Government would have in a states' rights scenario.
Seriously.
