I guess the two favourites would probably be Man City and Real Madrid, but I like to think Napoli will pull it off this time.
Man City v Bayern
Ederson - Stones, Akanji, Ruben Dias, Aké - Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Gündogan - Bernardo Silva, Haaland, Grealish
Sommer - Pavard, Upamecano, de Ligt, Davies - Kimmich, Goretzka, Coman, Musiala, L. Sané - Gnabry
That Bayern lineup looks meh, you can never win a game with Leroy Sane in the lineup.
Pep not overthinking things for a change, and City cruising to a 3-0 win. OK, not exactly cruising, because it was quite even for about 60 minutes, but then Bayern fell apart. Dayot Upamecano (milivella's FS pick) with a truly horrible night.
Benfica v Inter
Benfica apparently dominating in all the meaningless stats, Inter up 2-0. Football sucks
So probably an all Italiano semi finale...
Ah, so Inter will play the winner of Milan v Napoli in the semi, while manc Ity will play the winner of Chelsea v Real Madrid.
AS for the game, Leroy was not the worst bayern player out there, but from attacking perspective bayern had nothing. Man City won convincingly enough even if it was typical "boring domination" of the game, Haaland was really quiet so only scored one
goal and one assist. As it turns out Man City and bayern were favourites to win this cup, with napoli and then Real Madird, which I find a bit weird, but so be it.
Was hoping more from Benfica in the other match, but they lost 2-0 and the dream is over.
Tomorrow is Napoli v Milan, which happens to be the game i watched a week or two ago, in that match, Milan were comfortable winner, so I dont know, was Napoli taking it easy as they have the title already, is Milan their Bogey team or are they in bad
form now?
Chelsea v Madrid has a Chelsea team with whoever the latest manager is leading them vs a Madrid team that can only win the Copa del Rey or the Champions liga this year and i dont think anyone would be shocked if they somehow manged to with the UCL. I
suppose the only thing Chelsea can win is the UCL, so maybe they might be up for it and pull off a win, but based on the season so far, I doubt it.
It is hard to not pick Man City to finally win it this year.
