Too many European teams, too few Oceanian teams. No UEFA

Too many European teams? Of course there are, as Europe is where
most of the big club sides in the world reside, so obviously
FIFA wanted to shoe-in as many of the big 'names' as they could.
Wake up, it's not about the football it's about putting bums on
seats in those big stadiums, television rights, corporate
advertising and all the lovely $$$ that rolls-in to FIFA HQ
from the tournament.
Look how Uncle Gianni got Inter-Miami in to the tournament, just
because of Lionel Messi... he even tried his best to get Ronaldo
in too... it's all about the money.
Sure, there is a trophy at the end of it, but in the big scheme
of things what does that title mean really?
What do you think?
I think it's a stupid cash-grab of a tournament played at the
wrong time and for the wrong reasons.
Should we boycott it?
If you don't like the tournament don't watch any of the games.
Calling it a boycott is a bit OTT though. Boycotts are
for self-important people who like to draw attention to
themselves by boycotting something and telling everybody that
they are!
However, I will watch the Chelsea games, work permitting...
and boycott the rest of the games in sympathy with you! ;-)
