I think it is France vs Spain tomorrow?
Indeed. And what a game it was. Fantastic.
I turned on near halftime, Spain was 2-0 up but by highlights Unaí Simon
had to make a number of interventions to keep Spain's relatively
comfortable lead. Then comes second half and, just like that, Spain adds
up a further two goals (Yamal on a pk and Pedri, on the 54' and 55') and seems to wrap things up for good.
France soon had a penalty for them too, converted by Mbappé (at the
59'), but eight minutes later Yamal seemed to crush even those faint
little hopes, with a very nice little touch with the tip of his boot to
put it past Maignan to make it 5-1.
Spain took the foot out of the gas pedal after that one, but did France
make them pay dearly for that. Goals by Cherki (79'), Vivian (84') and
Kolo Muani (90'+3) gave the Spanish the mother of all unexpected scares.
Full time, Spain 5, France 4. Very good game I thought, with lots of
scoring chances by both sides. Kudos to Spain, for being good enough to
blow France off like that, and to France, for not giving it up even
while 5-1 down. How many teams find their way back into the match under
such deficit, even when the opposition lowers their pace? They lost
anyway, but made it respectable. Too bad they couldn't add another one,
I would take a further 30 minutes of this.
Portugal vs Spain in the final should be a very interesting game.
Looking forward to it. Bring it on!

When you live on an Iceberg, you sometimes miss out on the football in
summer, And today was a day like that and i kinda wish I had stayed in
and watched this and missed out on yesterdays match. It si not like I am catching lake trout by the ton, I mean come on 9 goals! and not even a
blow out according to the score.
I am not fully in tune with our Projection team, but they must be
projecting Spain to win the WC next year
