    Thanks, entered.

Have been a bit too busy this year to pay as much
    attention as in recent seasons.

My unsophisticated predictions: Carolina look good
until they flame out, Leafs find a way to eff it up,
Florida will win the East again, Oilers will fall before
    the Western final.

Colorado, buoyed by Landeskogā€˜s return, to win it
all. If Nichushkin can keep his credit cards clean for
    once.

    Ciao,
    Werner

We'll have to go with Warm Weather Theory again. If it fails, I'll blame
Trump, his shtick giving extra motivation to Canadian teams could make
    the whole theory fall apart.

So it's Florida over Dallas in the final (Dallas vs LA in the Western Conference final was close...)

I have Edmonton to win it all. Though I also have the Snores to knock
out the leafs, which based on the 1st game may need changing.

Thinking a bit more about this, WWT predicts that teams that finally
experience tolerable temperatures in the spring months can't be arsed to
play ice hockey. So the theory really should be that the team with the
smallest difference in average temperatures between January and June
wins. Let's see if that changes my predictions.

Adjusted WWT has LA over Dallas (and also Washington over Carolina in
the second round of the Eastern Conference). Still Florida to win it
    all, though

The BATTLE OF FLORIDA series is one of the best play-off series of games
that I have seen in recent years - whoever wins this match-up has gone
all the way to the Stanley Cup final in the past. Game Four tonight was
very exciting with the Lightning blowing their lead late in the third.
Paul Maurice is going to be letting rip in the dressing room !!! The
Panthers are looking strong. They could very well do it again.

How comes the hit on Hagel wasn't a penalty either?

Did anyone have the Laffs on their bracket?

Yes. But not to go all the way.

I do like their coach Berube though, he comes across well in the
media and he has got them playing well...
