Calgary came close, but the Blues had that amazing 11 game
winning streak and they and the Wild just pipped them.
Still, 5/7 Canada based teams in the playoffs, vs. 11/25 US
based.
I would not mind if the Jets won this. Winnipeg would go
wild. However, overall first place teams do often fall flat on
their faces.
Looking at it completely objectively (with no NYR in the
play-offs) I'll have to go for the Toronto Maple Leafs... the
blue and white jerseys - or white and blue jerseys - look really
good on the ice. So I think that's as good a reason as any to
cheer them on...
