What to do

Look at the fixtures below: do you play home or away?

*Home*
- Before Thursday (= before 2023/5/8, 23:59 GMT)
=- Pick one team from each of the two matches, in order of preference

*Away*
=- After Wednesday (or even sooner, if the home player has picked their
teams) and before kickoff of the first match on Saturday 2023/5/11
- Pick one of the teams not picked by your opponent (if they haven't picked
any team, you have free choice; if she is Lassie and there is a tie,
disregard the last vote)

home. Insigne might even be back, I read.

Your logic about travel and home advantage is impeccable. Except that
Pacific has further to travel and one day fewer of rest.
They play in Ottawa in the Canadian Championship tomorrow.

Bernardeschi scored 45 points in FS. You picked just two players who
scored more than that in the 3rd cycle, one who scored basically the
same amount of points (Florenzi 51) and *nine* who scored fewer points.

As someone once said, the FS scoring rule is genial, but it is far from perfect.
Having had to endure the sight of Bernardeschi at Juve for way too long, I can safely say that I'm perfectly happy to sacrifice Cycle 3 glory for the knowledge that at least I didn't pick that useless goat.

Oh, and about Cycle 3 glory: sometimes the dazzling runner-ups are more fondly remembered than the dreary winners.

for the 'home' pick to be made. But I would have gone Toronto
