Is the color green finally going to be well-represented in monitors?

The laser projector has broadened the colour gamut in theatres. Will laser-based monitors do the same?

I wonder how deep a monitor would be, or how shallow it could be got
without significant compromise ....

I don't think we'll see 1/2 inch thick laser monitors.
