Those guys are a bunch of conspiracy theorist nuts.
The real issue with the FCC is the soon to be enforced “Remote ID” enforcement which they will have a big hand in, as Remote ID will most likely be using WiFi, possibly 4G, or 5G transmission.

The DoD banned purchases of all COTS drones back in 2018.

In checking publicly released statements as to why, they've simply said
it was due to "cybersecurity".

If you ask someone who's had the Need to Know if the (non-released?)
underlying reasons why they enacted that ban make sense, if they
answer you at all, they'll probably say "Hell, yes".
