In my opinion. If I were to buy a monochrome camera, dated DSLR design notwithstanding, I would still go with it rather than a fixed-lens pocket camera,
likely with slower focusing speed. Reason is, I would want as much control as possible to exploit the sensor's potential. Of course it would have been better in a mirrorless camera, but Pentax lost that with the Q and the K-01 which ironically, was
one of my favorite camera.
