My only gripe is that it has a lens on it permanently. Would have been been better with a c-mount.

The webpage notes in part:

"...will have continuous autofocus with DSLR-like
focus control..."

Does that imply the lens has electromechanical
controls for focusing? If so that would explain
the fixed lens.
