• The coming optical glass shortage

    Some rumours about it. No doubt much of the glass, if there is a shortage will be allocated for phone camera lenses, but we could (if the rumours are right) see shortages of real camera lenses, binoculars, spotting scopes, astronomical telescopes.
    Microscopes are not likely to be impacted as their lens systems are small.
