Hi Jill. I'm so glad that the new diet has solved the problem and
you're
getting the food at a good price. It's good that Buffy does play while
your at work, all my cats either slept or looked out of windows while
I was at work. Sootie sleeps most of the time I'm at home now. :)
Oh, when I'm at home she sleeps just as much. She does seem to think
she's fooling me.
I'm also very glad you're enjoying your new job. It makes such a difference if you have a nice boss.
It definitely does make a difference! BTDT with employers who had bad attitudes. There was one man who thought he could yell at employees
like a drill sargeant. It was rude, it was uncalled for. He wasn't
running an army camp. I left there rather quickly.
I would have replied earlier but I didn't go on my computer yesterday
as I had my Covid jab yesterday afternoon and was trying to get my
jobs all done before that so I could relax afterwards.
Congrats on the Covid jab. Of course you needed to relax afterwards! I understand there is a second shot followup. I have no idea when I might
be able to get the vaccine. I am taking all precautions.
Stay safe too.
Judith
Thanks, I will.
Jill
I think that these cats think we're pretty thick and can't see through
their teasing.
I worked at the same place for 41 years and my bosses were all bullies and
had their gang of sycophantic followers who laid bait and belittled
others. I was told by one girl from another department that she was
bullied at primary school by one of the bosses and her mother had gone to
the boss's mother to complain with another mother about it happening to
her daughter. She refused to come into the office afterwards having
explained it to her boss. Anyway, I'm a tough cookie and in the last two
years we had different bosses and everyone was bullied except that I
didn't just take it. On one occasion they were shouting at me and I
shouted back telling them that they weren't following the rules of
"Equality and Diversity" which they were always preaching about. That shut
them up (I didn't know much about it but they didn't know that, after all
I had been there for 39 years. It was an open plan office with about 30
people in it and the room went silent, I was told afterwards that they
were all shocked and one said she was shaking. After that I got more or
less what I wanted which wasn't a lot. I was going to retire at 60 but put
in for redundancy before that and got a redundancy pay out and left 2
months early. She who laughs last laughs longest.
I hope you get your jab soon. There is a second one for which our
appointment is early May. They're doing the 60-65 year olds at the moment
and the plan is to have all adults done by 31st July. That's the plan
anyway, we'll see what happens. So keep taking the precautions, as we are
too. Take care.
Judith
