    trying to re-home a dog who recently bit a child. no prior bites, does well with other dogs and adults. any suggestions or resources?

    Only to make sure it's well away from children for now and to work with
    a local rescue (and be honest). Some dogs just do not mix well with
    kids.

    I'd be interested to know more details. what were dog and child doing at the time of bite? Dogs don't bite without a reason. Also what age and breed dog are you rehoming?? I'm interested.
