LOL, or at least that's what the headline said. The actual story was far less dramatic.
Measure 114 is a gun control bill that religious groups gathered signatures for.
"Students across Oregon walked out of class to support Measure 114
Measure 114 would increase gun control in Oregon, and if passed it
would be the strictest gun control measure in the nation."
That's just great. They're already behind because of Covid dumbass
school closures, and now they get further behind by leaving class to
support a dumbass gun control...ummm.....measure.
But look, so at the end of the day going forward, I suppose there's,
like, you know, a silver lining - if their school gets attacked while
they're out, you know, supporting, they literally won't be there to
get shot. So look, I suppose getting dumber is better than like, you
know, getting shot with like, an assault rifle.
"PORTLAND, Ore. — A couple hundred students at Grant High School walked out at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday in support of Oregon Measure 114 that
would increase gun control in Oregon.
This comes after two students were killed at a high school in St.
Louis, Missouri Monday morning and a week after a shooting happened
outside of Jefferson High school that injured two students."
"Lake Oswego High School also participated in the statewide walkout."
There are almost 2,000 students enrolled at Grant High School.
The measure is expected to pass. I expect that we'll end up in court to see how much of it can be enforced. Whatever happens this
will probably be good news for the gun dealers in the states around us.

Theory don't mean squat if it don't work.
